Sprinter Mobile Care – Where Mechanics Meet Integrity After picking up my new-to-me 2019 Mercedes Sprinter 2500 camper van (47k miles on the odometer), I quickly realized it was overdue for its Schedule B service. As a first-time Sprinter owner, I did what any mechanically savvy person would do: gather multiple quotes, compare labor rates, and dig deep into shop reputations. That’s when some trusted folks at Chainline Bikes in El Cajon pointed me toward Sprinter Mobile Care and Vitalli—their go-to Sprinter tech. Their praise? “Honest, fast, and loyal to returning clients.” I was intrigued. Mercedes-Benz of El Cajon quoted me a staggering $4,800 for the Schedule B. No thanks. I also took the van to Sprinter Pit Stop for a full diagnostic since they came highly recommended and are often mentioned in online Sprinter forums. Armed with the inspection report, I texted Vitalli. I wanted to see if his findings aligned with what I already knew—and how his pricing compared. Right off the bat, his quote was within budget. While I won’t list exact numbers here (to keep this review evergreen and fair to current rates), I will say this: I used AI tools to compare every quote—hourly labor rates, time estimates, and fluid specs—and Vitalli’s pricing structure was transparent and fair. His labor rate was lower than Pit Stop’s, and he didn’t pad the job with unnecessary labor hours or inflated part prices. In fact, his total came in at less than half of what Mercedes was asking. Vitalli found a few legitimate issues: a leaking intercooler hose, worn sway bar links, and a seeping crankcase breather. He didn’t just rattle off part names—he texted me detailed videos showing exactly what was wrong. Real diagnostics. Real communication. That alone builds trust. What really sealed the deal? He discovered a small tear in one of the front CV axle boots. Instead of jumping straight to replacement, he explained that the boot could eventually fail and that replacing just the boot would require removing the entire axle anyway. He gave me two options: replace the boot now and pay for labor twice down the line, or wait until symptoms (like clicking during 4x4 engagement) actually show up—then replace the axle outright. That kind of patient, thoughtful advice is rare. During the Schedule B service, he inspected the crankcase and told me it looked brand new. Turns out, I already knew it had been replaced by Mercedes less than 20k miles ago. Still, I had planned to have it serviced again—until Vitalli advised against it, saying it would be a waste of money. That kind of honesty is exactly why I’ll be bringing my van back to Sprinter Mobile Care. Bonus points? He identified a DEF injector leak near the SCR catalyst. Instead of brushing it off or upselling me, he contacted his inside guy at Mercedes-Benz of Escondido and got it pre-approved under warranty. That saved me a ton—and all I had to do was bring it to the dealer. Even though I’m in El Cajon, I passed that info on to MB of El Cajon, and they honored the repair. I’ll post a separate review about that experience soon. Bottom line: If you’re looking for a skilled tech who actually cares about the long-term health of your Sprinter—not just making a quick buck—go see Vitalli at Sprinter Mobile Care. Honest diagnostics, fair pricing, solid communication. He’s earned my business for the long haul. Tim FinneganJuly 20, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Brought my t1n sprinter to get AC diagnosed as Freon was empty and never worked since I purchased it. Vitalli had to do an extensive amount of troubleshooting to diagnose the problems in system. He has done work and inspections for me before and has guided me on repairs that I tackled myself. I appreciate his honesty and knowledge on these vehicles and would highly recommend him and his team. Christian Stores D BJuly 14, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Vitali has a gift for providing solutions to "hard to pinpoint" mechanical and electrical issues. Unlike previous experiences with most Sprinter mechanics, I received high quality service at a fair price. Highly recommended!!! Jeremy SmithJune 17, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Top-notch Sprinter van specialists! Vitalli’s knowledge of Sprinter vans is outstanding. He’s been maintaining my 2007 Sprinter for the past five years, and his work has always been reliable and honest. He can help you plan ahead for future repairs or upgrades, handle big jobs, or take care of regular maintenance — he even uses Liqui Moly for oil changes ✅ If you want your Sprinter serviced properly by people who really know these vans, go to these guys. Highly recommend! Greg RonkMay 13, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fast Service. No nonsense. Very nice and clean facility.
